This master thesis will focus on the mechanism of Estrogen receptor alpha (ERa) that regulates signaling involved in breast cancer. ERa is a well-known characterized transcription factor and recently it was found in complex with non-coding RNAs. This project will explore ERa as a non-canonical RNA-binding protein and its function in the context of breast cancer.
The location will be in the Molecular Biology lab, Dept Clinical and Biological Sciences, c/o “SanLuigi Gonzaga” Hospital, Orbassano
