This work represents the completion of previous studies, carried out essentially at the Boston University, showing that GPS2 (component of the NCoR complex) controls the localization of the Histone Decetylase at differetn locations in the genome and its action may interfere with response to estrogen and antiestrogen in breast cancer.
The project concerns cell culture, qRT-PCR assays and ChIP assays and will be mainly directed by Prof. Valentina Perissi
